1. Will TeleReach work with my phone?
TeleReach is designed for broad smartphone compatibility and does not require a dedicated 5X flagship telephoto camera. Compatibility can vary by phone model, camera layout, and mounting method, so please check our compatibility guide before ordering.
2. Why is ≈288mm the recommended view?
TeleReach uses 6X optical magnification and is optimized around a 2X shooting view, giving you an ≈288mm-equivalent telephoto view on a typical 24mm main camera.
This is our recommended sweet spot for the best balance of reach, full-screen framing, and image quality.
Actual field of view varies by phone model and camera.
3. What does “Up to 15X View” mean?
TeleReach itself provides 6X optical magnification. When combined with up to a 2.5X shooting view in the app, you can achieve an ≈360mm-equivalent field of view, or up to a 15X view.
The additional framing is separate from the lens's 6X optical magnification.
4. Why do I see dark edges or a circular image at lower zoom levels?
At lower camera views, part of TeleReach's full optical image circle may be visible around the edges.
For a clean, full-screen composition, we recommend using ≥ 2X, which is also TeleReach's preferred shooting view for overall image quality and reach.
5. Is TeleReach just another form of digital zoom?
No. TeleReach adds physical 6X optical magnification in front of your phone camera before any additional in-app framing is applied.
That means your phone starts with real optical reach instead of relying only on a tighter digital crop.
6. Do I need to use the APEXEL One app?
We recommend APEXEL One for the most consistent TeleReach experience, especially on multi-camera smartphones that may automatically switch between cameras.
APEXEL One helps you stay on the intended camera, adjust your framing, and shoot with more control.
Native camera apps may work on some phones, but APEXEL One is the recommended setup.
7. Should I choose the Universal Clip or Phone Case?
Both versions use the same TeleReach optical system and are priced the same.
Choose Universal Clip if you want more flexibility across compatible phones.
Choose Phone Case if you prefer a cleaner, fixed mounting setup on a supported phone model.
8. What if TeleReach doesn't work for me?
