The 37mm version is designed for the universal tripod mounting setup and is available as a complete kit with the lens, phone clip, and tripod. The 17mm version can be used with a compatible metal clip or a dedicated phone case, giving you a more compact mounting option.

A tripod is highly recommended, especially when shooting at 40–60X. At higher magnifications, even small movements can cause noticeable shake. Using a tripod provides a more stable view and makes it easier to focus and capture sharper photos or videos.

As with any high-magnification telephoto lens, shooting conditions become more important at higher magnifications. Good lighting, accurate focus, a stable tripod, and minimal atmospheric haze will help you achieve the best results, especially near 60X.

For the best image quality, we recommend relying mainly on the lens’s optical magnification and keeping your phone’s digital zoom to a minimum. Excessive digital zoom can crop the image and reduce detail, although a small amount can be useful for fine-tuning your framing.

The TeleCular 3 lets you adjust the optical magnification from 20X to 60X, giving you more flexibility when photographing distant subjects. You can use lower magnification to locate and frame your subject, then zoom in for a closer view and more detail.

The lens is designed for long-distance viewing and photography rather than close-up subjects. It works best for subjects such as birds, wildlife, landscapes, sporting events, performances, and distant scenery where extra reach is needed.
